John Wookey has a 40-year career in enterprise software across strategy, product development, and organizational management. Most recently, John led the procurement and network management development organizations at SAP, including the SAP Concur, Ariba, and Fieldglass products.
Prior to SAP, John held several roles at Salesforce, including the core platform development organization and Salesforce Industries. Prior to his role in industries, John developed Salesforce’ first HR application, work.com, which was subsequently integrated into their core product portfolio.
Prior to Salesforce and SAP, John spent 14 years in the applications division of Oracle, beginning as the VP of development for financial applications, and ending as the overall leader for the applications division, responsible for all horizontal and vertical products. During his tenure at Oracle, he was also responsible for numerous strategic acquisitions including PeopleSoft/J.D. Edwards, Siebel Systems, Agile, G-Log, Portal Software, and Treasury Services.
John holds BS and MS degrees in Engineering Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley.
