Silicon Valley Defense Group Names Virtualitics to NatSec100 List for Mission-Critical AI Innovation

Recognition underscores Virtualitics’ leadership to develop readiness AI solutions powering national security missions

PASADENA, Calif., July 9, 2025Virtualitics, the Mission AI company delivering next-generation readiness solutions for defense, today announced that it has been named to the 2025 NatSec100, Silicon Valley Defense Group’s (SVDG) annual list of the top 100 venture-backed companies driving innovation across national security and dual-use technologies.

The NatSec100 ranking recognizes companies advancing mission-critical technologies in support of U.S. and allied defense needs. Sponsored by JPMorganChase’s Aerospace & Defense industry division, the 2025 list is informed by a proprietary methodology developed by SVDG in collaboration with Franklin Templeton and Balyasny Asset Management, and is categorized against the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD)14 Critical Technology Areas.

Virtualitics was selected for its breakthrough Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) product, powerful AI applications now fielded across multiple branches of the DoD, including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force and U.S. Army. IRO turns fragmented readiness data into mission-ready decisions through explainable AI and predictive analytics, empowering end users with transparent, critical insights that accelerate decision-making and elevate mission readiness.

“In a defense landscape defined by complexity and constrained resources, IRO gives commanders, planners, and maintainers the clarity to act decisively,” said Michael Amori, CEO and co-founder of Virtualitics. “We are proud to be recognized in this year’s NatSec100 alongside peers building the future of AI and defense innovation.”

Traditionally, sustainment and readiness decisions have depended on siloed data systems, static reports, and time-consuming manual analysis. Virtualitics’ IRO changes that paradigm by integrating maintenance, logistics, personnel, and operational planning data into a single, secure, AI-powered environment, allowing leaders to simulate risks, model outcomes, and generate prioritized scheduling recommendations.

“NatSec100 isn’t just a list of companies, it’s a signal of who’s shaping the future of defense tech,” said Rob Bocek, CRO & President of National Security, Virtualitics. “At Virtualitics, we’re building mission AI that’s deployed at scale, solving some of the most critical problems around readiness. We are trusted by ‘tip of the spear’ warfighters, proving tremendous value to the mission and at the highest echelons of DoD. This recognition affirms our role in advancing AI capabilities where it matters most—on the front lines of national security.”

Built on research from Caltech and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, IRO is one of the few AI platforms to successfully bridge the gap from early prototype to operational deployment. Last year, Virtualitics was awarded four U.S. government production contracts. The current deployments span maintenance and sustainment operations for weapon systems, storage planning, force readiness and operational risk forecasting.

Virtualitics’ inclusion in the 2025 NatSec100 highlights its growing momentum and position at the forefront of mission-driven AI, delivering meaningful movement to a maturing defense market. As the DoD accelerates efforts to modernize and adopt trusted, explainable AI across its operations, Virtualitics stands out as a proven partner delivering measurable outcomes at speed and scale.
