Meet Manuel Griego: Director of Customer Success

Our Meet the Team series showcases the brilliant and talented experts at Virtualitics who are dedicated to empowering organizations with AI-driven analytics and applications.

“It’s long been a career goal of mine to take the weight off the backs of the maintainer. I’m finally able to achieve this at Virtualitics, where our AI products are a force multiplier of success for maintenance teams everywhere,” says Manuel Griego, Director of Customer Success at Virtualitics.

After nearly 30 years of service as a U.S. Air Force (USAF) aircraft maintenance officer, transitioning into the tech world of AI was a natural progression for Manuel. After he retired from the USAF, his education in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Aeronautical Science led him to join an AI software company dedicated to developing a Condition Based Maintenance+ (CBM+) program for the Air Force. While he hadn’t been actively seeking new opportunities, Virtualitics caught his attention as an emerging AI company also deeply committed to supporting the USAF’s mission.

With extensive experience across multiple aircraft weapon systems, including bombers, fighters, rotary, and reconnaissance platforms, Manuel saw his career in the Air Force not just as a job—it was a mission to optimize operational readiness and support the men and women who maintain our national security.

“When offered the chance to jump over to Virtualitics, I knew it was time to make another transition to an AI software company that truly understood the mission and people that I spent 30 years supporting,” says Manuel.

Leading the Charge in Customer Success

As the Director of Customer Success at Virtualitics, he primarily oversees USAF logistics and sustainment contracts. His responsibilities are vast: he’s the primary point of contact for all operational activities, guiding a team of solution leaders, data scientists, and solution engineers to deliver AI-powered maintenance solutions. His primary objective is ensuring customers gain maximum return on investment and empowering decision-makers at every phase of their projects.

Currently, Virtualitics has renewed two major contracts with an Air Force Major Command (MAJCOM) to implement Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) for Maintenance and Materiel. These initiatives, spanning multiple weapon systems across the MAJCOM, are not only instrumental in boosting operational efficiency but also key to enhancing mission readiness.

“Moving the needle upwards to improve weapon systems’ capability, readiness, and availability will accomplish our nation’s goal to defend against our adversaries,” explains Manuel. “I’m looking forward to congratulating the entire team after deploying, implementing, and supporting our customers with mission success!”

With AI as the enabler, his vision for Virtualitics is grounded in real-world impact, driving forward a legacy of support and resilience for the Air Force and beyond.
