Meet Josh Adams: Mission Solutions Architect

Our Meet the Team series showcases the brilliant and talented experts at Virtualitics who are dedicated to empowering organizations with AI-driven analytics and applications.

“While I loved my time in the military service, I’m acutely aware that time is a precious resource that we’ll never get back. That’s why my goal these days is to return valuable time to my friends in the sustainment community and beyond,” says Josh Adams, Virtualitics’ Mission Solutions Architect for Integrated Readiness Optimization and Munitions Storage Planning.

Josh deeply understands the day-to-day experiences and challenges that sustainment leaders face. He has over 20 years of experience in USAF logistics and sortie production and retired in 2023 as a Senior Master Sergeant. In 2019 he was selected for and graduated the coveted Advanced Maintenance and Munitions Operations School (AMMOS), where his team earned the “Top Wing” award (Class 19C). His final assignment was as the A-10 Weapons System Manager at Headquarters Air Combat Command, Combat Aircraft Division/A4.

During his two decades of service, Josh never had a tool or application that could give a holistic view of how to respond to events and optimize resources.

“A lot of the solutions were siloed and only covered segments of the sustainment enterprise instead of the whole operation,” he says. “It made decision-making a slower process when what we really needed was a system that could help us respond more quickly or, even better, help us get ahead of problems.”

Making Sustainment Operations More Effective

After Josh retired from service, he wanted to move into a space where his skills could make a big, near-term impact on the folks that he served with and were still in sustainment operations. This is what led him to working at Virtualitics, where he focuses on supporting all our Department of Defense activities that involve Integrated Readiness Optimization (IRO) and Materiel Storage Planning (MSP).

“Virtualitics helps sustainment leaders rapidly make decisions based on the whole data picture of their operations, which enables them to truly focus on executing the mission, rather than spending so much time analyzing and planning it.”

Josh is also dedicated to upholding the customer service standards of Virtualitics, ensuring that every implementation is scaled and tailored to what will make the most direct impact to the customer’s mission needs.
