Scott Kindsvater

Lt. General, US Air Force (Ret)

Scott Kindsvater is a senior global operations and intelligence leader with more than three decades of executive leadership experience in the U.S. Air Force and senior consulting roles. A highly decorated F-15E fighter pilot with 10 combat deployments, he brings deep international expertise and experience working with NATO allies and partners across Central and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.

As a Lieutenant General in the U.S. Air Force, he served 32 years, including the last 21 years in executive leadership positions. Lieutenant General Kindsvater commanded a U.S. Air Force fighter squadron, the U.S. Air Force Weapons School (Top Gun), two Air Force wings, and a numbered Air Force task force.

His career includes key strategic roles across military, U.S. Congressional, and interagency staffs. He directed operations and intelligence efforts against ISIS in Iraq and Syria and led operations and intelligence for the NATO Alliance. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels, Belgium, and as Advisor to the NATO Secretary General.

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Army War College, Lieutenant General Kindsvater continued advanced studies at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, George Washington University, the NATO Defense College, and the Naval Postgraduate School. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis.
