Dave Rey

Dave Rey is President of Global Public Sector at Salesforce, where he leads sales and growth strategy across North America, EMEA, and ANZ. He is responsible for driving continued expansion and performance across Salesforce’s public sector business, supporting government organizations in delivering mission-critical capabilities at scale.

Prior to joining Salesforce in 2013, Mr. Rey spent 17 years at Oracle, where he most recently led the company’s public sector infrastructure business. During his tenure, he also ran Oracle’s federal software business across both technology and applications, working closely with U.S. government agencies on mission-critical systems and enterprise agreements.

Mr. Rey has deep expertise in building high-performing, industry-focused sales organizations that deliver sustained, year-over-year growth and strategic partnerships. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Falcon Microsystems and Booz Allen & Hamilton, supporting public sector clients. He began his career at the National Security Agency within the Department of Defense, where he supported multiple logistics initiatives.

Mr. Rey holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Towson University and an M.S. in Business/Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
