JR Morell

JR Morell is Vice President of Federal Sales at Virtualitics, where he leads the company’s sales strategy across the Department of War, the Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian agencies, and the Defense Industrial Base. He builds high-performing sales teams, forges strategic partnerships, and expands adoption of Virtualitics’ AI-native readiness solutions to strengthen mission readiness and operational decision-making.

JR brings more than 20 years of experience in federal technology, sales leadership, and go-to-market execution. Throughout his career, he has helped government and industry leaders apply AI/ML, advanced analytics, cloud, and emerging technologies to complex national security challenges. Before joining Virtualitics, he held senior federal sales and technical leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, DataRobot, Microsoft, and Lockheed Martin.

Known for building new markets and scaling mission-focused growth, JR has led major federal capture efforts, developed strategic partnerships with Federal Systems Integrators, and supported complex acquisition strategies across defense and civilian agencies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Studies from Florida State University, along with professional certifications including Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and Shipley Associates certifications in Capturing Federal Business, Managing Federal Proposals, and Writing Proposals. JR lives in Tampa, Florida, and is an active member of the Tampa/St. Pete Pelican Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
