
Jon M. Davis
Lieutenant General, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret)
Lieutenant General Jon M. Davis, USMC (Ret.) is President of Green Monarchs Enterprises Inc. and a senior aviation and cyber operations leader with more than 35 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. Over the course of his career, he served as an aviator, instructor, and senior leader, bringing deep expertise in operational aviation, cyber warfare, and joint force integration.
Lieutenant General Davis commanded at multiple levels, including Marine Attack Squadron 223 (VMA-223), Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1), and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. He also held key joint and cyber leadership roles, including Deputy Commander for Network Warfare at Fort Meade and Deputy Commander of United States Cyber Command. In 2006, he established and led the nation’s first Cyber Joint Interagency Task Force.
His final assignment on active duty was as Deputy Commandant for Aviation at Headquarters Marine Corps, where he was responsible for the strategy, readiness, and modernization of Marine Corps aviation forces.
Following his retirement in 2017, Lieutenant General Davis has advised and supported a range of commercial and emerging technology organizations. He currently serves on the boards of Rolls-Royce North America, AeroCore, and Chemring Group, and advises multiple high-growth startups.
Lieutenant General Davis holds a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College, a Master of Science from Marine Corps University, and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School’s Boards That Lead program.
