Kerry Kelley

Former CIO and Director for US Strategic Command

Kerry Kelley was the Chief Information Officer and the Director of Command, Control, Computers and Communications Systems at US Strategic Command since 2011. She is an executive leader with over 30 years of national security experience in bringing together operations, strategy, policy, technology and resources. As Chief Information Officer, she served as primary technical advisor for multiple Commanders of US Strategic Command. Her responsibilities included providing assured decision support capabilities for US Strategic Command.
Previously, she served as the Associate Director for Capabilities and Resources at US Strategic Command where she was responsible for future concepts, research & development initiatives, advanced architecture and systems integration projects. Her background and skills include strategic planning, policy development, operational risk management, contract development and oversight, and financial planning and management. With experience in leading and managing a large technical workforce, her specialized expertise includes cybersecurity, information technology modernization, satellite communications, and information support for national and nuclear operations. Currently she provides consulting and advisory services for multiple clients.
